How can I read a perusal script?

Just fill out a Perusal Request Form here on our website and we’ll take care of the rest.

How do I apply for a license?

Simple. Fill out our Licensing Application.

What are the fees for producing a musical?

Fees are based on a variety of factors specific to your production. Fill out a Licensing Application and we’ll get back to you with a quote within 1-3 business days.

What materials are required to produce the show?

We have so many materials to help you bring Weird! The Musical to life. A Show Kit is required to purchase with licencing. It includes everything you need to produce the show. It includes 1 Piano/Conductor Book, 1 Director’s Script and 10 Cast Script/ Vocal Books. If you want to produce the show with a full live band or are excited to perform with our high quality show tracks…we’ve got you covered! Check out our Productions Resources section and customize the materials that work best for your production.

How long does it take to find out if I will have the rights to perform a show?

We aim to get back to you within 1-5 business days.

How quickly will I receive my production materials?

If your order is paid in full, materials will be shipped 60 days prior to your first performance.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes. We will use PayPal to process your show package.

I need to plan! Can I get my materials sooner than the 60 days prior to opening?

Yes! We offer an Advance Pack which includes a Piano/Vocal book, a Director’s Script and a Cast Script/Vocal Book.

Do we always need a performance license even if we are not charging admission?

Yes. As a copyrighted work, Weird! The Musical requires a performance license agreement each and every time it is presented whether admission is being charged or not or if the show is a remounting of a previous production.

Can I change or cut language in the script?

In order to change or remove any language, you must receive prior permission from us. If you cannot perform the musical without such changes, you should not hold auditions until such permissions have been granted. Please send an email to weirdmusical@gmail.com with the details of the changes you are interested in making. We will respond as quickly as possible.

Do I have to return the production materials at the end of my production?

We do require you to ship the materials back to us 7-10 days after your production.
